The Dayton 36GL16 is a grounded Type K thermocouple probe built for industrial temperature measurement. It suits technicians and engineers who need a standard plug connection for air, gas or liquid applications. The probe fits 1/4 in MNPT and 1/8 in MNPT process threads.

Temperature Range and Cable Length

The probe operates from -325 Degrees to 2,280 Degrees F (-200 Degrees to 1,250 Degrees C), giving wide headroom for extreme cryogenic and high-heat processes. A 6 in cable and 6 in probe length limit reach to nearby fittings. Longer runs or remote heads will need an extension.

Replacing Worn Probes

This unit replaces a failed or drifted Type K probe with the same plug and thread size. The jump is worth it when the old sensor no longer holds calibration across the full -325 to 2,280 Degrees F span. It does not suit applications needing an ungrounded junction or a different thermocouple type.
