Wall housing for 20 in blade

This galvanised steel wall housing accepts a 20 in blade and provides a closed base for secure mounting. It measures 24 1/4 in overall height and width with an overall depth of 32 in. The 18 ga thickness gives rigid support for industrial ventilation installations.

Sustained airflow performance

The 18 ga galvanised steel construction resists corrosion during continuous operation in damp or outdoor environments. The closed base design maintains structural integrity under constant vibration from the mounted fan. Included guard and four mounting angles keep the assembly stable over long duty cycles.

Cut-out and mounting limits

The unit requires a square cut-out of 25 5/8 in by 25 5/8 in in the wall opening. Four side panels and four mounting angles are supplied for fastening to the surrounding structure. No electrical components or wiring are included with the housing.

Questions about this item

How much noise, heat or power does the Dayton 3FKF7 wall housing generate when running all day?

The housing itself has no motor or electronics, so it adds no noise, heat or power draw; only the fan mounted inside it contributes those.

What else must I already own for the 20 in blade housing to work?

You need a compatible 20 in propeller fan, mounting hardware for the 18 ga galvanized steel frame, and a rough opening of 25 5/8 in by 25 5/8 in.

Will the 32 in deep housing fit alongside my existing shutter or ductwork?

The overall depth is 32 in, so measure your current shutter or duct clearance; the included guard and four side panels mount flush to the housing face.
