Questions about this item

How often will the painted steel housing need repainting or touch-up?

The painted steel finish is factory-applied and designed for durability; inspect annually and touch up any chips with matching paint to prevent corrosion.

What is the maximum continuous run time before the motor overheats?

The cabinet is a passive housing without a motor; thermal limits depend on the compatible Dayton fan model installed inside.

How much heat does the cabinet itself generate during all-day operation?

The steel cabinet produces no heat on its own; any warmth comes from the fan unit mounted within the 36 by 12-1/2 inch enclosure.
