Removes fan blades and wheels with four jaws, locking bolts, hardened bolt and centering sleeve in cast iron
The Dayton 2PYL8 is a cast-iron puller designed to remove fan blades and wheels from motor shafts. It suits maintenance technicians and DIY users who service HVAC equipment, industrial fans or similar rotating machinery.
The tool includes four jaws, four locking bolts, a hardened bolt and a plastic centring sleeve. Jaws clamp onto the blade or wheel hub while the hardened bolt presses against the shaft. Misalignment or overtightening can damage the hub or strip the bolt threads.
Cast-iron construction resists flexing during extended pulling jobs, keeping the jaws centred on the hub. The hardened bolt maintains thread integrity under continuous torque. The tool is not suited for presses or impact drivers that exceed its mechanical limits.
