Workers needing arc-flash rated fall protection

This harness suits professionals who require compliant arc-flash protection combined with fall arrest. The vest style and quick-connect buckles on the chest and leg straps allow for fast donning. Workers needing a different harness style or those who do not require arc-flash rated PPE should consider other options.

Quick-connect buckles and PVC coated D-ring

Quick-connect buckles on both chest and leg straps reduce the time needed to put the harness on and take it off. The back D-ring is made from PVC coated aluminum for durability and conductivity management. These features are part of the ExoFit NEX series design.

Questions about this item

What fall-arrest lanyard or self-retracting lifeline rating is required to connect to the back D-ring?

Use a lanyard or SRL rated to ANSI Z359.1 and Z359.4 that matches the 420 lb harness capacity and the PVC-coated aluminium back D-ring.

Can the Nomex/Kevlar webbing and PVC-coated aluminium D-ring be used with existing steel snap hooks and carabiners?

Yes — the hardware meets ANSI Z359.1 and OSHA 1926.502, so standard-compliant steel connectors will engage the D-ring correctly.

After donning the harness, how do I confirm the quick-connect chest and leg buckles are locked?

Each buckle gives an audible click; pull firmly on both straps — no slippage means the quick-connects are fully engaged.
