Replacement CPU cooling fan for Toshiba Satellite S50T and S55D laptops, individually tested before dispatch
This replacement CPU cooling fan is built for Toshiba Satellite S50T and S55D laptops. It serves owners who need to restore factory cooling performance after the original fan fails or becomes noisy. The part is supplied new and tested individually before dispatch. Buyers with different laptop models or those seeking a complete cooling-pad accessory will not find a match here.
The fan spins up to move heat away from the processor during everyday workloads. Because it is a direct mechanical replacement, acoustic output and power draw remain consistent with the original design. No alternative fan curves or speed profiles are provided, so behaviour stays identical to the stock unit. Overheating caused by dried thermal paste or blocked vents will not be solved by the fan alone.
The package contains one cooling fan without mounting screws, brackets or thermal compound. Installation therefore requires reusing the original fasteners and applying fresh paste for proper contact. No software, drivers or control utilities are bundled, so the system manages fan speed exactly as it did before. Bulk-order enquiries are handled separately and do not change the single-unit contents.

Remove the bottom cover, disconnect the old fan cable, unscrew the heatsink assembly, swap the fan, reapply thermal paste on the CPU and GPU, then reassemble in reverse order. The step most people miss is cleaning off the old thermal compound completely before applying fresh paste.
Blow compressed air through the heatsink fins every few months to stop dust build-up. Listen for new rattling or grinding noises — those mean the sleeve bearing is wearing and the fan should be swapped again.
The single 5 V fan can only move so much air; once the heatsink saturates, CPU temperatures climb and the processor throttles clock speeds to protect itself.
