Replacement CPU Cooling Fan

This new DBTLAP cooling fan replaces the original CPU cooler in compatible MSI laptops. It arrives as a single tested unit with a three-pin connector ready for installation. The part carries reference numbers PAAD06015SL and N285 for identification.

Fits Specific MSI Laptop Models

The fan is built for MSI GP72, GE62, GE72, GL62, GL72, PE60 and PE70 series notebooks. Matching the part number to your device ensures the mounting points and cable align correctly. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm operation.

Direct Swap for Failed Original Cooler

This component replaces a worn or noisy factory fan without changing the thermal design. The upgrade is worth it when the original cooler no longer spins freely or produces excessive noise. Buyers needing a different form factor or additional cooling capacity should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How long does the 3-pin fan run before thermal throttling becomes the limiting factor under sustained load?

The fan is tested before shipping and designed to match the original cooling curve for the listed MSI models, so throttling limits depend on the laptop's own thermal design rather than the replacement fan itself.

What noise and heat levels should I expect when the fan runs continuously all day?

As a direct replacement with the same 3-pin connector and form factor, it produces noise and heat output equivalent to the original factory fan when operating at the same speeds.

Which existing laptop components must I already have for this fan to install and work correctly?

You need a compatible MSI chassis (GP72, GE62, GE72, GL62, GL72, PE60 or PE70) with the matching PAAD06015SL N285 3-pin header and mounting points.
