Replacement fan for HP EliteBook Folio

This new DBTLAP cooling fan carries part number KDB0505HC-DC34 and is built for the HP EliteBook Folio 940 G1 and 1040 G1. It arrives as a single tested unit ready for installation. Buyers who need a complete cooler assembly with heatsink or mounting hardware will not find those parts here.

Fits inside the existing chassis

The fan slots into the laptop’s original cooling cavity and connects to the motherboard header without adapters. It restores airflow to the CPU zone and frees the system from thermal throttling caused by a worn or noisy original fan. Builders looking for a universal external cooling pad should choose a different product.

Tested for quiet operation

Each unit is bench-tested before shipping to confirm steady rotation and low acoustic output under normal loads. The replacement draws power directly from the board and maintains the thermal envelope designed for the 940 G1 and 1040 G1 platforms. No additional power circuitry or software control is required.
