Questions about this item

Will the DBTLAP CPU fan need periodic cleaning or bearing replacement?

The fan is a single moving part; dust buildup on the blades is the only maintenance, and bearings are sealed for the unit's life.

What limits continuous cooling — thermal throttling or airflow capacity?

Airflow capacity of the replacement fan sets the limit; if the heatsink cannot move heat faster than the fan supplies air, temperatures rise.

How loud and hot does the fan get during all-day operation?

Each unit is tested before shipping; normal operation stays within the acoustic and thermal profile of the original MSI GS70/GS72 cooler.
