Replacement fans for Dell XPS 17 9700

This two-fan kit replaces the original CPU and GPU cooling assembly inside the Dell XPS 17 9700. It is intended for owners whose existing fans have become noisy, failed or lost airflow. Each unit is tested before dispatch to confirm operation.

Sustained thermal performance

The paired fans draw heat from both processor and graphics chip simultaneously, maintaining steadier temperatures during long rendering, compilation or gaming sessions than a single-fan design would. Continuous operation is supported by the dual-motor layout without relying on short burst curves.

Direct-fit mechanical design

The pair matches the factory mounting points and connector pin-outs for part numbers EG50050S1-CG10-S9A and EG50050S1-CG20-S9A, so installation requires no adapters or cable modifications. Verifying the part number against the original unit before ordering avoids fitment issues.

Questions about this item

How much noise and heat does the DBTLAP dual-fan cooler produce when running continuously?

The two fans are designed to move air across the CPU and GPU heatsinks; typical laptop cooling fans run quietly enough for office use while keeping internal temperatures lower than stock cooling alone.

What must I already own for this cooler to work in my Dell XPS 17 9700?

You need a Dell XPS 17 9700 chassis with the original EG50050S1-CG10-S9A or EG50050S1-CG20-S9A fan mounts and the matching motherboard fan headers.

Will this replacement pair fit alongside the original heat pipes and screws already in my 9700?

Yes, the fans are built to the same EG50050S1-CG10-S9A and EG50050S1-CG20-S9A specifications, so they align with the existing heat-pipe assembly and mounting points.
