Replacement Fan Pair for Dell XPS 13 9320

This DBTLAP cooling fan set is designed as a direct replacement for the CPU and GPU coolers inside the Dell XPS 13 9320 laptop. It suits owners whose original fans have become noisy, failed, or lost cooling efficiency over time.

Upgrading from Worn Original Coolers

The pair replaces the factory-installed EG50040S1-CQ40-S9A and EG50040S1-CQ50-S9A units when they no longer spin freely or maintain safe temperatures. The jump is worth it once thermal throttling appears or bearing noise becomes distracting during normal workloads.

Verify Part Numbers and Connector Before Ordering

Confirm that your device uses the exact EG50040S1-CQ40-S9A and EG50040S1-CQ50-S9A part numbers and the four-pin DC5V 0.29A connector shown in the product photos. Matching the visual layout and part codes ensures 100% compatibility with your XPS 13 9320.

Questions about this item

Does the 4-pin connector match the EG50040S1-CQ40-S9A or EG50040S1-CQ50-S9A fan header on the Dell XPS 13 9320?

Yes, the replacement fans use a 4-pin DC5V 0.29A connector that fits the original EG50040S1-CQ40-S9A and EG50040S1-CQ50-S9A headers on the Dell XPS 13 9320.

What is the common mistake when swapping the two fans in the Dell XPS 13 9320?

The two fans are not interchangeable; each has a specific part number (EG50040S1-CQ40-S9A or EG50040S1-CQ50-S9A) and must be installed in its original position.

When should the EG50040S1-CQ40-S9A and EG50040S1-CQ50-S9A fans be replaced in the Dell XPS 13 9320?

Replace the fans if bearing noise develops, airflow drops noticeably, or the system begins throttling under load despite clean heatsinks.
