Replacement Fan for Epson Projectors

This 12 V, 400 mA four-wire cooling fan is a direct replacement for Epson C260S, C300S and related projector models including EB-C260M, C261MN, EB-C300MN, EB-C3000X, EB-1775W and C-E01C. It suits technicians and owners who need to restore original airflow after a bearing failure. Buyers who need a universal laptop cooler or a different voltage rating should look elsewhere.

Installation Notes

Each unit is tested before dispatch and the package contains one fan. The four-wire connector matches the original pinout, so fitting requires only a compatible screwdriver and access to the projector chassis. Installers must verify the exact part number against the original fan because several visually similar variants exist across the listed models.

Sustained Operation

Rated for continuous 12 V operation, the fan maintains steady airflow during long projection sessions without the speed drops seen in short bursts. The 400 mA draw remains stable under load, keeping lamp temperatures in the design envelope. Units are sourced from Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon or Kipo depending on stock, all specified for the same voltage and current.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 12 V 400 mA fan is running correctly after installation?

Power on the projector and listen for steady airflow from the exhaust vent; the fan should spin smoothly without rattling or vibration.

What comes in the package and what must I source separately?

The box contains one cooling fan only; mounting screws, thermal pads and any required cables are not included.

Which compatible model should I select for an EB-C260M unit?

Choose the version listed for EB-C260M — it matches the 12 V 400 mA 4-wire specification for that projector.
