Replacement Fan for Satellite S55 Series

This DBTLAP cooling fan serves as a direct replacement for Toshiba Satellite S55D-A5366, S55T-A5258NR, S55T-A5277 and S55DT-A5130 laptops. It operates at DC5V .6A to maintain safe operating temperatures. The part suits owners of these specific models who need to replace a worn or failed original cooler. Buyers with different Satellite series or other brands cannot use this fan.

Single Fan Unit Shipped After Testing

The package includes one fan unit only, with no mounting screws, thermal pads or control software supplied. Each item is tested individually before dispatch to confirm 100 per cent functionality. A nine-month warranty covers the part against early failure. Installers must reuse existing fixings and thermal interface material from the original assembly.

Limited to Listed Model Numbers

This cooler fits only the four model numbers explicitly named in the specifications. Variations within the wider Satellite S55 family that carry different suffixes are not supported. The fan may originate from Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or another manufacturer depending on stock, so connector orientation can differ from the original. Verifying the exact part number against the old unit is essential before fitting.

Questions about this item

When will the replacement fan for my Toshiba Satellite S55T-A5277 need changing again?

The fan is tested individually before shipping and carries a 9-month warranty, so under normal use it should run reliably for at least that period before another replacement is considered.

What limits continuous operation of the cooling fan in my S55DT-A5130?

Sustained use is bounded by the DC5V 0.6A power rating; if the laptop's thermal load keeps the fan at maximum speed the current draw stays at that level.

How much noise and heat does the DBTLAP fan add when running all day on a Satellite S55D-A5366?

The unit is a direct-fit cooler drawing 0.6 A at 5 V, so it adds only modest airflow noise and negligible extra heat to the chassis during all-day operation.
