Questions about this item

Does the package include any screws, cables or thermal paste, or just the fan itself?

The package includes one fan only. Screws, cables and thermal paste are not included and must be sourced separately.

How do I confirm this fan matches the 5H40S20939 or BAPA0810R2HY008 part number on my Legion Slim 5 16APH8?

Compare the part number printed on your original fan — 5H40S20939, 5H40S20942, BAPA0810R2HY008 or BAPB0810R2HY008 — with the numbers listed for this replacement.

What does the 12 V 0.5 A rating mean for daily use in the laptop?

The fan draws 0.5 A at 12 V, matching the motherboard header specification so it runs at the designed speed without overloading the circuit.
