ThinkPad X201 CPU cooler

This replacement cooler fits IBM Lenovo ThinkPad X201 and X201I laptops. It includes the fan and heatsink assembly identified by part number 60Y5422. The unit is supplied new and tested before dispatch. It is intended for owners of those specific models who need a direct replacement.

Single-fan thermal limits

A single fan and heatsink can only move the heat the original design allows. Sustained heavy loads may still throttle the processor because the cooling capacity is fixed by the laptop chassis. The part restores factory cooling performance; it does not increase it. Buyers who want lower temperatures under full load cannot achieve that with this component alone.

Part number 60Y5422 match

The only specification that decides fit is the part number 60Y5422 printed on the original fan. Manufacturers such as Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon or Kipo may supply the unit depending on stock. Verify the number on your existing cooler before ordering to avoid choosing the wrong part.
