Questions about this item

Does this cooler require the original Toshiba Satellite L855-S5383 motherboard connector to work?

Yes, it plugs directly into the same CPU fan header used by the factory fan, so no extra adapters or power bricks are needed.

Will the replacement fan fit the existing heatsink mounting holes on my L855-S5383?

The unit is built to match the original L855-S5383 fan footprint, so it aligns with the stock screw holes and clears the surrounding chassis.

How can I confirm the new fan is spinning at the correct speed after installation?

Enter the BIOS hardware monitor or use a Windows utility such as HWMonitor; the RPM reading should appear and rise smoothly when the CPU load increases.
