Who should buy this

Owners of the listed Samsung models who need to replace a noisy or failed CPU cooler will find a direct fit. Builders working on other laptop series or anyone needing a complete cooling assembly with heatsink should look elsewhere. The package contains only the fan itself.

Cooling capacity and limits

The fan draws 0.2A at 5V to move air across the processor heatsink in the supported chassis. It handles the thermal load designed for these specific Samsung models. It cannot cool higher-wattage CPUs or fit laptops outside the R45, R65, X60 and X65 range.
