The package contains one fan tested before shipping. It suits owners of models such as dv7-7165sz, dv7-7170eo, dv7-7170er, dv7-7170sl, dv7-7212nr, dv7-7223cl, dv7-7227cl, dv7-7230us and dv6-7377sr.

Fits directly into the existing heatsink assembly

The four-pin plug connects to the motherboard header without adapters. No extra brackets or cables are required. Replacing a worn or noisy unit restores proper airflow over the processor heatsink. The swap frees the thermal path from dust-clogged blades and failing bearings.

For owners of the listed Pavilion models needing

Buyers who cannot verify the exact part number against their original fan should look elsewhere. This unit does not support other HP series or non-Pavilion chassis. It is not a universal cooling pad and will not work as an external USB accessory.
