Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Owners of the listed Aspire M5-481 variants needing a direct cooling replacement will find the correct fit. Builders working on other Acer series or different brands cannot use this fan. Buyers who want a complete cooling assembly with heatsink should look elsewhere.

Build integration notes

The fan installs inside the existing laptop chassis using the original mounting points and connector. No external power or control software is required. Replacing a worn unit restores proper airflow and frees the system from thermal throttling.

Questions about this item

Does this fan fit my Acer Aspire M5-481PT without any other parts?

Yes, it is a direct replacement for the original CPU fan in the M5-481 series; you only need the laptop and basic tools to install it.

Will the connector on this fan match the motherboard header on my older M5-481G?

The fan uses the same DFS491105MH0T L002 EG50060V1-C020-S99 part number as the original, so it plugs straight into the existing header on all listed models.

How can I confirm the fan is running correctly after I fit it?

Power on the laptop and listen for the fan spinning; the BIOS or a hardware monitor should report a stable RPM reading for the CPU fan.
