Replacement CPU fan for Dell XPS 15 9530

This new DBTLAP cooling fan replaces part numbers H98CT and 0H98CT in the Dell XPS 15 9530 and Precision M3800 15.6 notebooks. It is a direct swap for the original DC28000DRF0 and DFS501105PQ0T assemblies. Each unit is tested individually before dispatch to confirm 100 percent operation.

Fit limited to the listed Dell 15.6 models only

The fan matches the mounting points and connector of the XPS 15 9530 and Precision M3800 chassis. It will not align with other Dell series or third‑party laptops that use different screw patterns or cable pinouts. Buyers who need a cooler for a different 15.6 model or a thinner ultrabook should verify compatibility before ordering.

Simple swap if the part number matches your original

Installation requires opening the laptop base, disconnecting the old fan cable and securing the new unit with the existing screws. The most common issue is ordering the wrong variant; the supplier advises comparing the FCGW code and photos with the removed fan before purchase. No thermal paste is included, so reuse the original or apply fresh compound during reassembly.

Questions about this item

Which fan part number matches my Dell XPS 15 9530 or Precision M3800?

This replacement cooler carries part numbers H98CT, 0H98CT, DC28000DRF0, DFS501105PQ0T and FCGW — verify the code on your original fan before ordering.

What does the 15.6 inch designation mean for fit inside my laptop?

The 15.6 figure refers to the chassis class of the XPS 15 9530 and Precision M3800; the fan is shaped for that specific 15.6 inch motherboard layout.

Which power connector standard does the fan use and what does it limit?

The unit ships with the proprietary Dell 3-pin connector used on the 9530 and M3800, so speed control and monitoring are handled by the laptop's own fan header.
