Replacement CPU cooler for Lenovo P500, z500 and z400 laptops, tested before shipping
This replacement CPU cooler fits Lenovo P500, z500 and z400 laptops using part number MG60090V1-C170-S99. It is supplied as a single fan unit tested individually before dispatch. The component restores active cooling for compatible notebook models. Buyers with different laptop series or alternate fan part numbers cannot use this cooler.
The fan draws power from the laptop header and spins to move air across the heatsink during normal operation. Acoustic output varies with workload and the specific manufacturer supplied from current stock. No independent thermal or power measurements are provided by the supplier.
The package contains one fan unit only; no mounting screws, thermal compound or control software are included. A nine-month warranty covers defects from the date of purchase. Photographs show the actual item received, though the brand may be Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or another vendor depending on availability.

Remove the bottom case, disconnect the old fan cable from the motherboard header, swap the fan, then reconnect the cable firmly — the step most often missed is seating the connector fully so the fan spins at 100% speed.
The fan bearings may wear after extended use; plan to clean dust from the heatsink fins and replace the fan if noise or RPM drops below spec.
The single-fan airflow capacity becomes the bottleneck before the heatsink saturates, so temperatures rise once the fan reaches maximum RPM.
