Compatible Dell Laptop Models

This LCD hinge fits Dell Vostro 130 and 131 series laptops as well as Latitude 3330 models. It is intended for repair technicians or owners replacing a damaged display hinge on these specific devices.

Thermals Noise and Power

As a passive mechanical component the hinge draws no power and generates no heat or noise during normal laptop operation. It simply enables smooth opening and closing of the display panel.

Replaces Broken Original Hinge

This part replaces a cracked or loose factory hinge that causes screen wobble or lid misalignment. The upgrade is worth it when the original hardware fails and the chassis remains intact.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DBTLAP LCD hinge on a Dell Vostro 130 or Latitude 3330 without misaligning the display cable?

Remove the bezel and keyboard deck, detach the old hinge brackets from the lid and base, route the display cable through the new hinge exactly as it came out, then torque the screws evenly so the lid sits flush.

What part of the hinge assembly tends to wear out first on a Vostro 131 and need replacement later?

The brass bushings inside the hinge barrel develop play after repeated opening cycles, causing the lid to wobble; replacing the complete hinge restores firm movement.

What physical limit appears first when the hinge is used constantly on a Latitude 3330?

The stop tabs on the hinge barrel hit the chassis cut-out at maximum opening angle, preventing further travel and protecting the display cable from over-extension.
