Rosy silicone fondant mat

This new DECHOUS mat is a food-grade silicone impression tool for cake decorating. It measures 39.00 by 12.50 by 0.10 centimetres and weighs 0.21 grams. The flexible, non-stick surface releases fondant, chocolate or gumpaste cleanly. A high-definition wheat ears pattern adds a rustic, farmhouse texture to desserts.

Bakers wanting a single detailed texture

The mat suits home bakers and hobbyists who need one repeatable wheat ears design for cakes, cupcakes or soap. It is not for buyers who want multiple interchangeable patterns or larger continuous sheets. Crafters needing thicker moulds for deep 3D shapes should look at something else.

39 cm strip covers standard tiers

The 39.00-centimetre length impressions a full side of many round tiers or a batch of cupcakes in one press. The 0.10-centimetre thickness limits deep relief work and heavy clay projects. The 12.50-centimetre width restricts coverage on wide rectangular slabs.

Questions about this item

What size rolling pin works with the 39.00X12.50cm mat?

Any rolling pin wide enough to cover the 12.50cm width will press the wheat ears pattern evenly across the 39.00cm length.

Can I press the wheat ears design into polymer clay that I already cured?

No, the flexible silicone needs soft material such as fresh clay, fondant or chocolate to capture the 0.10cm deep texture.

How do I know the wheat ears impression transferred correctly?

Lift the mat gently; a sharp, continuous grain pattern with no torn edges on the fondant or chocolate shows the 0.10cm relief worked.
