Dry Ice Shipping Labels UN1845

These labels identify packages that contain solid carbon dioxide for transport. They meet the UN1845 marking requirement for dry ice shipments. Each roll provides 500 white and black labels on silicone-coated release paper. Shippers and laboratories use them to stay compliant with hazardous-materials regulations.

Adhesion and Legibility Over Time

The silicone-coated liner protects the adhesive until the label is applied. Once affixed, the stock resists moisture and temperature changes common in cold-chain logistics. Printed text and the black hazard graphic remain readable throughout transit. The roll format keeps labels flat and prevents curling during extended storage.

Simple Roll Application

Labels peel cleanly from the release paper for hand or dispenser application. The 6-inch square size fits standard package surfaces without trimming. Users must ensure the surface is dry and free of frost before sticking. No special tools or software are required to deploy the roll.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the UN1845 label roll generate when the printer runs all day?

The roll itself produces no heat; it is a passive paper label stock on silicone-coated release paper and only the printer mechanism warms during continuous use.

What printer or applicator must I already own to use these 6" x 6" dry-ice labels?

You need a label printer or applicator that accepts 6-inch-wide rolls on a standard core and can handle paper label stock with a silicone-coated liner.

Will the UN1845 labels feed correctly on an older thermal-transfer printer I already keep?

Yes, provided the older printer supports 6-inch-wide media and a standard core, the white/black paper labels on silicone release liner will feed and print without modification.
