Compact Tweeter Pair

The Deejay LED TBHDIMETWEETER is a pair of small tweeters designed for audio projects that need high-frequency output in a limited space. They suit hobbyists building custom speaker cabinets or upgrading portable sound systems.

Thermal and Power Behaviour

The tweeters handle typical signal levels without audible distortion and run cool during normal listening sessions. No active cooling is required, so the installation stays silent when the system is idle.

Build Integration

Each unit mounts with a compact footprint that leaves room for crossovers or mid-range drivers in the same enclosure. The lightweight construction adds minimal mass to portable rigs and keeps wiring runs short.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TBHDIMETWEETER tweeters and which step is often missed?

Mount each tweeter securely, then connect the positive and negative terminals to the crossover or amplifier; the step most people skip is verifying polarity before final tightening.

What maintenance will the TBHDIMETWEETER pair need over time?

Periodically dust the diaphragms with a soft brush, check that terminal screws stay tight, and inspect the surrounds for any cracking or hardening.

What limit appears first when the TBHDIMETWEETER tweeters run continuously at high output?

The voice coil will hit its thermal limit first, causing compression and possible permanent damage if the crossover protection is exceeded.
