VR Action FPS for PlayStation 4

After the Fall Frontrunner Edition is a new VR action first-person shooter built for PlayStation 4. It supports intense 4-player co-operative gameplay in a hostile world filled with ferocious undead. The experience is designed for players who own a PS4 and a compatible VR headset. It is not suited for buyers without VR hardware or those seeking a traditional flat-screen shooter.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a software title the game itself produces no heat noise or power draw beyond the normal operation of the PlayStation 4 console and VR headset. Performance depends entirely on the host system's cooling and power supply. No specific thermal or acoustic figures are associated with this product.

Frontrunner Edition bundled content

The Frontrunner Edition includes full access to the Frontrunner Season, a PlayStation exclusive Ultimate Buster skin, a PS4 theme and avatars, the official soundtrack, and a digital artbook. These extras add cosmetic options and behind-the-scenes media but do not change core gameplay mechanics. Buyers wanting only the base game should note this edition bundles additional content.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Frontrunner Edition on my PS4 and what step is often missed?

Insert the disc, follow the on-screen prompts to install the base game, then redeem the Frontrunner Season code from the PlayStation Store before launching — skipping the code redemption locks out the season content.

What ongoing maintenance or replacement will the digital extras need?

The Frontrunner Season pass, Ultimate Buster skin, theme, avatars, soundtrack and artbook are tied to your PlayStation Network account; they require no physical upkeep but will become inaccessible if the account is closed or licences are revoked.

What is the first limit I hit during long co-op sessions?

The game caps co-op at four players, so once a full squad of four is in a session no further friends can join until a slot opens.
