Defender 5 Backpack 33L Capacity

The Defender 5 Backpack offers 33 litres of storage for sports, gym, school and travel use. Its polyester construction includes a water-resistant base to protect contents from damp surfaces. Multiple zippered pockets organise gear while webbing attachment points secure extra items. The unisex design suits adult users across various activities.

Installation and Common Issues

No assembly is required; simply adjust the shoulder straps and load the compartments. The ventilated zippered pocket isolates dirty shoes or wet gear from clean items. Overpacking the main section can strain zippers and reduce access to smaller pockets. Ensure all zippers are fully closed before travel to prevent snagging on the webbing loops.

Practical Limits of the Backpack Format

The 33 litre capacity fits daily essentials but cannot accommodate bulky equipment or extended-trip volumes. Polyester fabric resists light rain yet is not rated for full submersion or heavy downpours. The medium frame lacks an internal frame or hip belt, so weight rests on shoulders during long carries. Team branding space is available but limited to the exterior panel area.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 33 L capacity is usable after packing?

Fill the main compartment and zippered pockets completely; if gear fits without forcing the zippers and the water-resistant base stays flat on the floor, the 33 L volume is performing as intended.

What comes inside the box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the Defender 5 Backpack model 984108 with multiple zippered pockets, a ventilated shoe pocket and webbing attachment points; no extra accessories are included so items such as a laptop sleeve or water bottles are bought separately.

Should I choose the 33 L version or the 36 L Stadium Backpack for team gear?

Choose the 33 L Defender 5 when you need a ventilated shoe pocket and water-resistant base in a 12" x 9" x 20" frame; choose the 36 L Stadium Backpack if you prefer a 14" x 10" x 20" size with a mesh soccer ball pocket instead.
