Professional Lavalier Microphone

The Deity Microphones W.Lav DA5 Bundle provides a condenser lavalier microphone with a TA5F Microdot adapter for Lectrosonics wireless transmitters. It is built for video professionals, ENG shooters, corporate interviewers and houses of worship who need broadcast-quality audio in a discreet package.

TA5F Microdot Adapter for Lectrosonics

The bundle includes a DA5 adapter that terminates the 1.5 meter cable in a TA5F connector, making it compatible with Lectrosonics transmitter systems using the Microdot standard. This specific connector is the single specification that determines whether the microphone integrates with your existing wireless kit.

Suited for exposed-mount recording

The microphone features an ultra-flat frequency response designed for visible placement on talent during corporate interviews, talking-head videos and ENG work. It is not suited for users who require a high-frequency boost to compensate for hidden mounting under clothing, or for kits using Locking 3.5 mm TRS or TA4F connectors instead of TA5F.

Questions about this item

How does the 1.5 m cable length affect placement when the lavalier is clipped on a speaker?

The 1.5 m cable gives enough slack to route from a chest clip down to a belt-pack transmitter without pulling tight or needing an extension.

What does the DA5 Microdot adapter connect to in practice?

The DA5 adapter terminates in a TA5F connector that plugs directly into Lectrosonics wireless transmitters using the Microdot system.

What mounting accessories come in the box for securing the microphone to clothing?

The bundle includes a clip for attaching the capsule to fabric plus foam and faux-fur windscreens that slide over the head to reduce wind and plosive noise.
