Electric Pencil Sharpener for Students and Artists

The Deli AZ68659-DPK is an automatic pencil sharpener finished in deep pink acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. It suits students, office workers, and artists who want consistent points without manual effort. The unit accepts standard pencils and offers three selectable settings for blunt, medium, or sharp tips.

Battery and USB Power with Overheat Protection

Operation runs on two AA batteries or the included USB connection, switching automatically when battery power drops. A built-in overheating protection stops the motor during extended use. The manufacturer rates the blade assembly for up to 5000 sharpening cycles before wear.

Replaces Manual Sharpeners for Speed and Consistency

This model replaces hand-crank or blade sharpeners when speed matters — new pencils take about five seconds, used ones about three. The jump is worth it for classrooms or studios that sharpen many pencils daily. It does not suit buyers who need a heavy-duty commercial unit or a sharpener compatible with oversized carpenter pencils.

Questions about this item

How do I install the power source for this AZ68659-DPK sharpener, and what step do people often miss?

Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) or connect the included USB cable; the step often missed is ensuring the battery compartment cover clicks fully shut so the safety switch engages.

What part of this sharpener will need replacement after extended use, and when?

The blade is rated for up to 5000 sharpening rounds; once that limit is reached the blade dulls and the unit should be replaced.

What is the first limit I will hit if I run this sharpener continuously?

The overheating protection activates first; after prolonged operation the motor pauses automatically until it cools down.
