Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise should I expect from the 750 W 80+ unit when it runs continuously in an R640?

The 80+ rating means at least 80 % efficiency at typical loads, so waste heat and fan speed stay lower than non-rated supplies during all-day operation.

Which Dell PowerEdge server must I already have for this 0W8R3C power supply to fit and connect properly?

It is built for the PowerEdge R640 chassis and will not mount or cable correctly in other models.
