Dell 14 DC14250 with Core Ultra 7

This 14.0-inch laptop pairs a 15th Gen Intel Core Ultra 7 150U processor with 64GB of DDR5 memory and an 8TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It targets professionals who need large local storage and high multitasking capacity in a compact Windows 11 Home device.

Thermals noise and 65W power supply

The system ships with a 65W adapter and a 4-cell 54 WHr battery, while the 10-core CPU reaches a 5.4GHz turbo frequency. Integrated Intel Graphics share system memory, so sustained heavy workloads will raise chassis temperature and fan activity.

Dockztorm Wireless Mouse and upgraded configuration

A Dockztorm wireless mouse is included in the package. The unit was professionally upgraded by Velztorm, meaning the original manufacturer box was opened for installation of the 64GB DDR5 SODIMM and 8TB NVMe SSD before final testing.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DDR5 memory and which step is often missed?

The 64 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM is already fitted; if you ever replace it, insert the module at an angle until the clips click on both sides — the step people skip is pressing firmly until both clips lock.

What maintenance or replacement will the 54 WHr battery need later?

The 4-cell 54 WHr battery is internal; after several hundred charge cycles its capacity drops and a Dell-authorised service is required to swap it.

Which limit appears first during sustained loads on the Core Ultra 7 150U?

The 65 W power supply and integrated Intel Graphics share the thermal budget, so the 5.4 GHz turbo cannot be held continuously — power throttling arrives before thermal limits.
