Dell 14 DC14250 AI laptop

The Dell 14 DC14250 is a 14.0-inch Windows 11 Home laptop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 150U processor reaching 5.4 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and an 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel Graphics drive the 1920 x 1200 IPS display at 60 Hz.

Suits mobile professionals needing large local

This configuration fits users who require extensive onboard capacity for large datasets or media libraries without relying on external drives. Buyers who want more storage than 8 TB or who need discrete graphics performance for intensive rendering or gaming should look at something else.

8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD decides fit

The single 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides the bulk capacity that defines this build. If your workload demands more internal space or a secondary drive bay, this unit will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

What USB standard does the USB 3.2 Type-C port use and what speed does it cap at?

The USB 3.2 Type-C port runs at up to 10 Gbps, so external SSDs and docks hit that ceiling in practice.

What physical drive size and keying does the 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD use so I can confirm it fits the chassis?

The 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD is an M.2 2280 module, the standard length for this 14.0 inch laptop chassis.

How do I reinstall Windows 11 Home on the 8 TB NVMe SSD and what step do people miss?

Boot from a Windows 11 USB, choose custom install on the 8 TB NVMe, then install the Intel IRST driver or the drive will not appear.
