Mobile workstation for legacy workflows

The Dell Precision 7520 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around a 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6920HQ processor running at 2.90GHz. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SATA SSD, running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Integrated Intel HD 530 graphics drive the non-touch display, and a webcam is included. The chassis measures 1.3 by 14.88 by 10.38 inches and weighs up to 6.9 lbs.

Suited for maintenance and office tasks.

This unit fits IT departments maintaining certified Windows 10 environments, engineers running legacy CAD or simulation code that relies on the i7-6920HQ instruction set, and offices needing a rugged 15.6-inch screen with a full keyboard. Buyers who need discrete graphics acceleration, Bluetooth connectivity, touchscreen input, or an operating system newer than Windows 10 Pro should look elsewhere. Battery life is rated under three hours, so mobile all-day use is not practical.

32GB DDR4 memory and 512GB SATA SSD

The installed 32GB of DDR4 memory can be expanded to 64GB, while the 2.5-inch 512GB SATA SSD provides solid-state boot and application loading without moving parts. These two specifications define whether the Precision 7520 can handle your dataset and application set; the integrated HD 530 graphics and fixed 15.6-inch non-touch panel are not upgradeable.
