Compact business ultraportable

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5-inch Windows 10 Pro laptop built for mobile professionals who need a lightweight, durable machine. It runs on an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.3 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 128 GB SATA SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 handles everyday visual tasks.

Fits a mobile workflow

The small footprint frees desk space and slips into a compact bag for travel. The SATA mSATA SSD keeps the system responsive while using less power than a mechanical drive, helping the lithium-ion battery last through meetings. An integrated webcam and Wi-Fi support video calls without extra peripherals. The non-touch display keeps weight down.

Replaces heavier legacy notebooks

This unit upgrades from older, bulkier business laptops that rely on spinning hard drives and larger chassis. The jump is worth it when portability and silent operation matter more than raw graphics power or maximum storage capacity. Buyers who need a dedicated GPU, a touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, or more than 16 GB of memory should look elsewhere.

How hot or loud does the Core i5-5300U get when the laptop runs all day?

The 2.3 GHz Core i5-5300U uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500, keeping heat and fan noise lower than discrete-graphics models during all-day workloads.
