Replacement lamp for Dell 1430X

This projector lamp module fits the Dell 1430X and uses a new Osram P-VIP 240W bulb inside a complete housing. It is intended for owners of that projector who need a direct replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life. The unit arrives fully assembled so no separate bulb handling is required.

Easy installation with a complete housing

Because the bulb is pre-fitted into its housing, installation consists of removing the old module and inserting the new one without touching the lamp glass. The only common issue is forgetting to reset the projector's lamp-hour counter after replacement, which can leave the replacement warning active.

240W output with two economy settings

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3000 hours of operation, while economy mode extends the rating to 5000 hours. Brightness will gradually decline as those limits approach, and the lamp cannot exceed the stated wattage or life figures.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 240W Osram P-VIP lamp is operating correctly after installing it in my Dell 1430X?

The projector should display a bright, uniform image with no flickering; the lamp-hour counter will reset to zero and begin counting toward 3000 hours in Normal mode or 5000 hours in Economy mode.

What comes in the box with the 1430X replacement module and is anything else required for installation?

The module includes the Osram P-VIP 240W bulb pre-assembled in its housing, ready for direct installation; no additional parts or tools are needed.

Which of the available versions of the 1430X lamp should I choose for my Dell projector?

All versions — the original OEM, the Dell-sold OEM, the alternate OEM, and the compatible — are built to ISO 9001 standards and fit the 1430X; select based on your budget and preference for original-manufacturer or third-party sourcing.
