15.6" FHD Touch Laptop for Home and Business

The Dell laptop combines a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen with an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U eight-core processor reaching 4.50 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVME SSD running Windows 11 Pro. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 display at 60 Hz.

Upgrade from 8 GB or 16 GB systems with slower

Moving to 32 GB of DDR4 and a 512 GB NVME SSD removes the memory and storage bottlenecks common in entry-level notebooks. The jump is worth it when you run multiple browser tabs, office suites and video calls simultaneously. The 8-core Ryzen 7 7730U handles that workload without the lag seen on dual-core or quad-core chips.

Suits professionals and students needing touch

The touchscreen and 720p webcam support interactive presentations and video conferencing. Buyers who want more storage than 512 GB or a dedicated graphics card for gaming should look at something else. The 45 W power supply and three-cell battery limit extended unplugged use for heavy workloads.

Questions about this item

What physical space does the 14.15 IN x 9.25 IN x .90 IN chassis need on a desk or in a bag?

The laptop measures 14.15 inches wide, 9.25 inches deep and .90 inches high, weighing 3.5 lb, so allow a flat surface slightly larger than A4 and a sleeve or compartment at least that deep.

How is the 512 GB NVME SSD installed, and what step do people often miss?

The drive is already fitted by the technician who opened the box for the upgrade; the step users miss is checking in BIOS that the NVME appears as the boot device before first use.

When will the 45 W power supply or 3-Cell battery need replacement?

The 45 W adapter and 3-Cell battery are rated for several hundred charge cycles; expect to replace the battery when run time drops below half of the original, and the adapter if the barrel connector becomes loose or the brick overheats.
