ThinkPad X220 business laptop

This 12.5 inch ThinkPad X220 is a portable business laptop with a touchscreen display and included pen input. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-2640M processor with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a 1TB hard drive. The HD panel resolves at 1366x768 and uses shared system memory for graphics.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch and pen

The touchscreen and pen support suit users who annotate documents or prefer direct screen interaction while travelling. The durable chassis, spill-resistant keyboard and common docking connector fit shared office workspaces. Buyers who want faster storage performance or a higher-resolution display should look at other models.

1TB hard drive defines storage speed

The single specification that decides suitability is the 1TB hard drive. It provides large capacity for local files but does not deliver the boot and load speeds of solid-state storage. If workflow responsiveness matters more than raw capacity, this drive type is the limiting factor.
