Product Overview

This 15.6-inch Dell laptop combines a 13th-generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB solid-state drive. The touchscreen IPS panel delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60Hz with an anti-glare finish. It ships with Windows 11 Home and integrated Intel UHD Graphics for everyday productivity.

Connectivity & Expansion

The chassis provides one USB-C 3.2 port, one USB-A 3.2 port, one USB-A 2.0 port, an HDMI 1.4 output, an SD card reader and a universal audio jack. Wireless networking uses Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth. Internal memory can be expanded up to 64GB DDR5 and storage up to 2TB NVMe SSD, freeing external ports for peripherals rather than essential add-ons.

Thermals & Power

A 3-cell 65Wh battery supplies power alongside a 65-watt adapter. The low-power U-series processor and integrated graphics keep heat output modest during typical office workloads, allowing the cooling system to run quietly. The compact 0.78-inch profile and 5-pound weight reflect a design optimised for efficiency rather than sustained high-performance loads.

Questions about this item

Does the i7-1355U throttle under continuous heavy load?

The i7-1355U is a 15 W processor; sustained heavy workloads will hit its thermal and power limits, reducing clock speeds until temperatures stabilise.

How loud and hot does the laptop get during all-day use?

With a 65 Wh battery and 65 W power supply, typical office work stays cool and quiet; heavier tasks spin the fan audibly and warm the chassis near the hinge.
