Dell 1700N Monochrome Laser Printer

The Dell 1700N is a monochrome laser printer built for home or small-office document printing. It ships with 32MB of memory and a standard 250-sheet paper tray. The unit includes the printer, power cord and test pages. Drivers and user guides are not supplied.

Expandable Memory and Paper Capacity

Memory can be expanded from 32MB up to 160MB to handle heavier print loads. The standard 250-sheet tray can be upgraded to a 550-sheet tray for longer unattended runs. These upgrades let the device grow with changing volume needs without replacing the whole unit.

Upgrade From Basic Inkjet or Single-Tray Lasers

The 1700N replaces entry-level inkjets or older single-tray lasers when faster monochrome output and higher paper capacity are required. The jump is worth it for users who regularly print large batches and need the 550-sheet tray option. It is not suited for colour printing or environments needing built-in wireless connectivity.
