3.84TB SAS 12G Enterprise SSD

This 3.84TB SAS drive operates at 12Gb/s and uses a 2.5 inch form factor. It is built for mixed-use workloads in Dell PowerEdge servers. A compatible Dell caddy is included for direct installation.

Suits Dell PowerEdge R210 through R930

The drive fits the listed PowerEdge models from the R210 generation one and two up to the R930. It is not for systems that lack a 12Gb/s SAS backplane or a 2.5 inch drive bay. It also does not suit environments that need a drive without a supplied caddy.

12Gb/s SAS interface

The single specification that decides compatibility is the 12Gb/s SAS interface. The server backplane and controller must support this speed and protocol for the drive to function correctly.
