Questions about this item

What NVMe generation does the 30FX3 SSD use and what speed ceiling does that impose?

The drive runs on NVMe Gen4, so its maximum throughput is limited to the Gen4 PCIe lane rate.

Which drive bay and height does the 30FX3 require for mounting?

It fits a standard 2.5-inch bay and is 7 mm tall, matching the slim form factor used in the listed PowerEdge servers.

How is the 30FX3 installed in a compatible PowerEdge server and what step is often missed?

Slide the drive into the hot-swap tray until the connector seats firmly, then lock the tray latch; the step often missed is fully engaging the latch so the drive reports as present.
