Compatible Dell Inspiron Models

This replacement battery fits Dell Inspiron 13 5368 5378 5379 7368 7378 and 14 7460 laptops. It is a 42Wh lithium-ion unit built to 11.4V for owners who need a direct swap for a worn original. The pack uses a four-cell layout and carries CE and RoHS certification. Buyers with other Inspiron variants should verify the part number before ordering.

Physical Fit and Connector

The battery is shaped to match the factory unit so it seats without gaps or forced alignment. A precise connector orientation means the cable plugs in once and locks without bending pins. The supplier notes that two different batteries exist for these models and they are not interchangeable, so comparing the original against product photos is essential before installation.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

Lithium-ion chemistry keeps self-discharge low during storage and delivers steady voltage under typical workloads. No moving parts are present, so the pack adds no audible noise to the system. The 42Wh capacity restores original run time for office tasks and media playback, while the built-in protection circuitry guards against overcharge and deep discharge.
