15.6" FHD non-touch display

The Dell Latitude 5510 is a 15.6-inch business notebook with a 1920 x 1080 FHD panel that is not touch-enabled. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-10610U quad-core processor that reaches 4.9 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 8 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD for storage.

Suited to office work and travel.

This configuration fits professionals who need a portable 15.6" machine for productivity, video calls and light multitasking. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics and 8 GB of soldered memory limit suitability for video editing, 3D rendering or large dataset analysis. Buyers who want more memory capacity or discrete graphics should look at something else.

256 GB NVMe SSD as sole storage

The only internal drive is a 256 GB NVMe SSD with no secondary hard drive bay mentioned. Capacity and the single-drive layout are the deciding factors for buyers who store large media libraries or multiple virtual machines locally. External or cloud storage becomes necessary once this volume fills.

Questions about this item

What does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 port with DisplayPort support allow me to connect?

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 port delivers power and carries a DisplayPort signal, so you can attach an external monitor and charge the laptop through a single USB-C cable.

What physical expansion slots are inside the chassis for adding storage?

The laptop uses an M.2 slot for the installed 256 GB NVMe SSD; any additional drive must fit that same M.2 form factor.

How do I add more memory, and which specification must the new module match?

Remove the base cover, insert a DDR4 SO-DIMM module into the open slot, and ensure it matches the existing 8 GB DDR4 specification for compatibility.
