7.68 TB Enterprise NVMe SSD

The Dell CM7-R is a 7.68 TB enterprise solid-state drive built for read-intensive workloads on NVMe Gen4 infrastructure. It uses TLC NAND and a 2.5 inch form factor to deliver high-capacity storage for compatible PowerEdge servers.

Hot-plug installation in supported bays

The drive fits standard 2.5 inch hot-plug bays in the listed PowerEdge models so installation is a simple slide-and-lock action. Firmware is updated before shipment and the part is tested, reducing the chance of detection issues during initial boot.

Suited for read-heavy server deployments

This unit suits administrators expanding storage in PowerEdge R660, R760, R760XD2, R860, R960, MX760C, C6615, C6620, XR5610, XR7620 and similar platforms that accept the CM7-R. Buyers needing write-intensive endurance or a different interface should consider other enterprise SSD lines.
