Business tower for multitasking workloads

The Dell OptiPlex 7010 is a new business desktop built around a 12-core Intel Core i7-12700 processor reaching 4.9GHz. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory at 3200MHz and a 4TB NVMe SSD, ready for office applications and data-heavy tasks. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Fits a managed office environment

The 180W power supply runs the integrated Intel UHD Graphics and wired peripherals included in the box. Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6 handle network connectivity without extra cards. Tool-less chassis access simplifies memory upgrades up to 64GB or storage expansion when needed.

Suits teams needing high capacity out of the box

Organisations that want a single 4TB boot drive and 12-thread CPU performance without custom ordering will benefit. Buyers who require discrete graphics, more than 16GB RAM at purchase, or a smaller form factor should evaluate other configurations.

Questions about this item

Does the 180 W power supply limit the i7-12700 under sustained 4.9 GHz loads?

The 180 W unit is sized for the 12-core i7-12700 at its 1.6 GHz base frequency; prolonged turbo to 4.9 GHz may trigger power throttling.

How loud and hot does the tower get when running all day with the 180 W supply?

The tool-less tower chassis uses standard Dell thermal management; fan noise and case temperature rise with sustained load but stay within business-class limits.

Is a monitor required to use the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on this OptiPlex 7010?

The system ships without a monitor; you must provide your own display for the HDMI or DisplayPort video outputs.
