750 W redundant server power supply supports Dell PowerEdge R630 systems with hot-swap capability
This 750 watt redundant power supply is built for the Dell PowerEdge R630 server. It delivers 750W of output to keep the system running when one unit fails. The part numbers are 57TFT, KNHJV and 1C8RF. It weighs 5.0000LBS and ships new with a 90 day warranty.
Redundant operation means the server can lose one supply and stay online, but total capacity does not increase beyond 750W. Both units share the load, so a single failure leaves no headroom for further faults. The supply fits only the R630 chassis and will not work in other models. Buyers who need higher wattage or a different form factor cannot use this unit.
This unit replaces a failed or missing 750W module in an existing R630 redundant pair. The jump is worth it when the server alerts on a power-supply fault or when a second module was never installed. It restores full redundancy without changing cables or rails. Servers that already run a matched pair gain no extra capacity from adding a third unit.
