Genuine Dell 7FMXV replacement battery

This 4-cell lithium-ion battery is built for Dell Latitude 5320, 7320, 7420 and 7520 laptops, including their 2-in-1 variants. It restores factory power specifications for mobile professionals who rely on consistent runtime during travel or desk work. The pack delivers 63 Wh at 15.2 V and 3941 mAh.

Upgrades worn or failed original packs

Replaces Dell part numbers 4M1JN, 1PP63 and TN2GY when the original cell chemistry has degraded below useful capacity. The jump is worth it when a Latitude no longer holds a full-day charge or shuts down unexpectedly under load. Swapping the pack returns the system to its rated endurance without changing the platform.

Fits inside the existing chassis bay

The battery slots directly into the Latitude's internal compartment using the original connector and screw points. No adapter cables, firmware updates or BIOS changes are required. Installation frees the user from carrying a bulky power brick for meetings and restores true untethered operation for the supported models.

Questions about this item

Will the 7FMXV battery fit inside my Latitude 7320 2-in-1 chassis?

The 7FMXV is listed as a direct replacement for the Latitude 7320 2-in-1, so it matches the internal bay and connector of that model.

What is the correct way to install the 7FMXV and what step do people often miss?

Power off the laptop, disconnect the AC adapter, remove the base cover screws, unplug the old battery cable, fit the new 4-cell 15.2 V pack, reconnect its cable, replace the cover, then charge fully before first use.

When will the 7FMXV need replacing and what part number should I reorder?

Runtime will gradually decline after hundreds of charge cycles; when it no longer holds a useful charge, reorder using Dell part numbers 4M1JN, 1PP63 or TN2GY.
