DELL 7G296 Ultra320 SCSI controller

The DELL 7G296 Ultra320 SCSI controller is a new switch module built for the PowerVault 220S storage array. It provides the host-side interface that lets the enclosure communicate with a server over an Ultra320 SCSI bus. This card is intended for administrators who need to replace a failed controller or add a spare to an existing 220S deployment.

Single controller for PowerVault 220S only

The part is validated solely for the PowerVault 220S; it will not fit other enclosures or serve as a general-purpose host bus adapter. Buyers who need a controller for a different storage platform or who require multiple channels should look elsewhere.
