Who this suits and who it does not

It suits owners of the listed MacBook Pro models who need a new lithium-polymer pack rated at 8440 milliampere-hours and 11.26 volts. It is not for users of other MacBook sizes, non-Retina 15-inch models, or newer machines that use different battery part numbers.

Deciding specification

The critical figure is the 95.03 watt-hour capacity at 11.26 volts, which must match the original battery label exactly for the MacBook to recognise and charge the pack correctly.
