Genuine Dell OEM touchpad ribbon cable

This is a genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable that connects the touchpad assembly to the junction board in an Alienware 17 R1 laptop. It is a direct replacement part for a damaged or failed cable. The component is supplied new and matches the original factory specification exactly.

Practical limits of the internal flex connection

The cable is designed solely for the Alienware 17 R1 model and will not fit other laptop chassis or touchpad assemblies. Installation requires disassembly of the laptop to access the junction board and touchpad connector. Buyers who need a cable for a different Alienware series or a non-Dell device cannot use this part.
